The Kasuals got together in the spring of 2008, after a couple of line-up changes and extensive rehearsals we are ready to entertain young & old alike with our blend of on-stage humour and classic 60’s songs. The band cover classics from, The Fourmost, The Searchers, The Troggs, The Kinks, Cliff Richard & The Shadows, Billy J Kramer & The Dakotas, The Merseybeats, Roy Orbison and The Beatles to name but a few. Kasual can also perform a few 70’s & of 80’s songs for the younger ones in the audience.
Between the band they have a vast amount of experience,
Nick – Rhythm guitar & lead vocalist . He spent 6yrs touring the world with 60’s legend, Freddie Garrity, of, Freddie & The Dreamers. Nick has Performed in such venues as, the Sydney Opera House, the London Palladium and the Liverpool Empire to name but a few, also, performed alongside Freddie on his last public performance on the, Sir Clive James Show.
Russell – Lead guitar. Russell has played and performed with some of the biggest names to come out of the 60’s, Dusty Springfield, Lulu, The Kinks, The Hollies, Shane Fentone & The Fentones, Marty Wilde, Mike Penders Searchers and Jet Harris to name but a few, not forgetting three months deputising with, The Fourmost.
Lee – Bass guitar & Vocals. Lee, the youngest member of the band at the tender age of 34 has also have a vast experience playing to live audiences around the UK. Lee played rhythm guitar in the well established Lancashire based 60’s band, Oh Boy, for a number of years, has also deputised with his father’s band, The Fourmost, at such venues as, Butlins, Warners and a short stint over in Greece.
Alan – Drums & Vocals. Alan is the bands beat man and second lead vocalist, another seasoned pro, played with many top artists over the years, also, had a spell playing at, Mr Smiths, in Manchester as well doing some session work for various local Manchester & Liverpool bands throughout his time.
