As musicians, they have been gigging full time professionally for over 10 years and have performed at numerous large and small events - as a result, they have a vast amount of experience in order to perform to a high professional standard whenever booked.
John King's career took off when he won Young Jazz Musician of Year competition when he was 17 years old, which was televised and hosted by Jools Holland. Jools commented on John's incredible guitar playing by stating "...he is a filthy guitar player who we will hearing lots about in the years to come"

He has recently finished his debut album "Blank Canvas" and is performing it around the UK aswell as playing with many well known artists.
Gavin gained notoriety when starring on 2007's X Factor show, getting to the last 12 of the over 25s category.
He has since released his own solo album 'Pictures in my Mind' in 2009, and is currently working with John on their duo and covers band 'The Cooler Band' for the foreseeable future..
Jones & King are adaptable to most event situations and offer a range of options.

The duo can offer background and light entertainment to be enjoyed with your drinks or meal and then a further set to include more lively music to get the party going.

Usually the duo perform 2 x 45 minute sets, but longer performance times can be organised, and have their own PA system and stage lighting. In terms of attire, they are as comfortable wearing black suits or casual clothing to suit your requirements.
