"Gillan is a Scottish singer/songwriter now living in Manchester, with a vast range of musical experience, from playing the Fiddle on a Scottish Orchestral tour of the USA, to playing for a crowd of 5000 at Giskefest off the eastern coast of Norway, to performing his own songs at London's prestigious IndigO2 venue.
Gillan has monthly residencies at The Comedy Store Manchester, Knutsford Wine Bar and Cool Britannia Bar, Chester, and has had the pleasure of being requested to play at a number of private events, from birthdays to engagement parties and Weddings.
Gillan covers a wide range of material, from 50s rock n roll to present day pop/rock; from The Kinks to Kings of Leon, and is as comfortable gently sound tracking an afternoon meal as he is rocking a dance floor until the wee small hours.
Available as a solo artist or as part of a band, Gillan says:
“It's always my aim to make sure you and your guests remember the event with a little extra fondness, that the entertainment I have provided has been absolutely second to none.”
